Abstract:

This coverage gives the number of public, school, academic, special, and institutional libraries in 193 Montana towns.

The item TOTAL1 gives the total number of libraries. It also gives the number of libraries which have WLN-Online and LaserCat, and the number which are state and federal document depositories. The locations were loaded from the Geographic Names Information System. The number of public libraries was revised in July, 1994.
